Golomb's custom-made gear helped Dempsey win the world heavyweight championship in 1919, solidifying Everlast's status as the go-to brand for boxing equipment.
Over the years, Everlast continued to innovate, with Golomb designing the elastic-waist trunks that would become the iconic "boxer trunks." The business was passed down to Golomb's son, Dan, and later acquired by Ben Nadorf, who remained the president and principal shareholder until 2000.
